
Drexel University is pleased to provide this update on its work with the Atwater Kent Collection (AKC), including a summary of activities over the past six months, sinc January 2023. Highlights including launching the online portal to the collection and opening the first public exhibition from the collection since 2018.

Drexel University is pleased to provide this update on its work with the Atwater Kent Collection (AKC) of the former Philadelphia History Museum, including a summary of activities over the past six months, since June 2022. Highlights include moving the Collection from a former warehouse location to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Center City; continuing work on a comprehensive collection evaluation; working toward public access online through the collection database in 2023 and related digitization efforts; and planning for two exhibitions of the AKC, in 2023 and 2024.

Following the public meetin, the Board of Trustees of the Philadelphia History Museum at the Atwater Kent allowed for a public comment period that ran from February 27-March 20.
