Directions

AKMP is located at 15 South 7th Street, one block from Independence Hall, just around the corner from the Liberty Bell and one block from the Independence Visitor Center.

From Airport, Walt Whitman Bridge and Points South Via I-95 North
At I-95 North, take Exit 22 (Center City Philadelphia/Independence Hall/Callowhill). Turn onto Callowhill and from the right lane follow to 6th Street. At 6th Street make a left and follow to Ranstead (1/2 block south of Market Street). At Ranstead make a right and go one block to 7th Street. AKMP is mid-block on 7th Street.

From New York, PA Turnpike, Tacony Palmyra Bridge and points North Via I-95 South
On I-95 South, take Exit 22 (Center City Philadelphia/Independence Hall/Callowhill). At first light after exit, take right onto Callowhill. On Callowhill move to left lane and turn left onto 6th Street. Follow to Ranstead (1/2 block south of Market Street). At Ranstead make a right and go one block to 7th Street. AKMP is mid-block on 7th Street.

From Ben Franklin Bridge and New Jersey
At the Ben Franklin Bridge follow signs to 6th Street (Independence Hall). At 6th Street make a left and follow to Ranstead (1/2 block south of Market Street). At Ranstead make a right and go one block to 7th Street. AKMP is mid-block on 7th Street.

From Western Pennsylvania Via I-76 (Schuylkill River Expressway)
Follow I-76 to 8th Street Exit (Ben Franklin Bridge). Turn right on 8th Street. At first light turn left onto Race Street. Turn right onto 6th Street and follow to Ranstead (1/2 block south of Market). At Ranstead make a right and go one block to 7th Street. AKMP is mid-block on 7th Street.

Regional Rail
Exit train at Market East Station (The Gallery). Follow signs to Market Street. Go left on Market Street to 7th Street. Turn right on 7th Street. AKMP is mid-block on the left.

The Elevated (El) Train (Market-Frankford Line)
Take the Blue Line to either 5th or 8th Street stops. At street level follow Market Street to 7th Street. From the 5th Street stop, turn left onto 7th Street. From the 8th Street stop, turn right onto 7th Street. AKMP is mid-block on the left.

Parking

Parking garages near AKMP are available on 7th Street. The Ranstead Street Parking Garage at One Independence Place offers $2 parking for AKMP members on Saturdays and after 3 P.M. on weekdays. Metered street parking may also be available.
