The Experience
Experience Philadelphia! is an interactive, multi-person, role-playing simulation that places its 20-60 participants "in charge" of the Philadelphia region—its economy, resources, culture, problems, and future. Participants assume the leadership of their communities and confront the real world problems that are currently facing them. What you do counts. Your decisions and actions impact the lives of the entire region. Make the right decisions, creatively solve the problems confronting Philadelphia, use your limited resources wisely, and work with the other players in Experience Philadelphia!—and you, and Philadelphia, win.

The Giant Map
Experience Philadelphia! takes place on a giant (40-foot by 40-foot) floor map at the Atwater Kent Museum of Philadelphia. This map is the world's largest and most accurate map of the Philadelphia region. The map nearly covers the entire first floor exhibit area. While you are on the giant map you see the area from over three miles above the ground, but the incredible detail of the map allows you to find every street, park, stream, school, and a host of additional features. Check out a small chunk of it

Experience Philadelphia! Movie
To get a feel for our wonderful region, and as an introduction to Experience Philadelphia!, check out this short
movie. Just as the giant map provides a big picture perspective on our region, its geography, and land use, this movie does the same for the people who live and work here. Watch it
